To je kemi\u010dno oblikovano s hidrolizacijo avtomobilske se\u010dnine, ki je glavna surovina za AdBlue\u00ae. Urea se uporablja tudi pri\u00a0proizvodnji gnojil in \u0161tevilnih drugih aplikacijah.<\/p>\n<p>AdBlue\u00ae se uporablja pri dizelskih motorjih s tehnologijo SCR. Ta tehnologija (selektivna kataliti\u010dna redukcija) zmanj\u0161uje\u00a0\u0161kodljive emisije (NOx). AdBlue\u00ae se vbrizga v katalizator sistema SCR, kjer spro\u017ei kemi\u010dno reakcijo z amoniakom. Ta kemi\u010dna reakcija pretvori strupene du\u0161ikove okside (NOx) v du\u0161ik (N2) in vodno paro (H2O).
