Este\u00a0\u00e9 quimicamente obtido pela ureia hidrolisada para aplica\u00e7\u00e3o\u00a0autom\u00f3vel, que \u00e9 a principal mat\u00e9ria-prima do AdBlue.\u00a0A ureia tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 utilizada na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de fertilizantes e\u00a0muitas outras aplica\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>O AdBlue \u00e9 utilizado em motores a gas\u00f3leo usando a tecnologia\u00a0SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction). Esta tecnologia reduz\u00a0as emiss\u00f5es nocivas de NOx.<\/p>\n<p>O AdBlue \u00e9 injetado no catalisador SCR, onde provoca uma\u00a0rea\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00edmica com o amon\u00edaco. Esta rea\u00e7\u00e3o converte o \u00f3xido\u00a0de azoto t\u00f3xico (NOx) em nitrog\u00eanio (N2) e vapor de \u00e1gua\u00a0(H2O).
