Esta&nbsp;norma afetou especialmente os padr\u00f5es para os autom\u00f3veis&nbsp;movidos a gas\u00f3leo, exigindo a redu\u00e7\u00e3o de emiss\u00f5es de NOx&nbsp;e hidrocarbonetos. Consequentemente, o sistema SCR e o&nbsp;AdBlue revelaram-se vitais para atender \u00e0 norma Euro 6.&nbsp;A norma Euro 6 para ve\u00edculos pesados entrou igualmente em&nbsp;vigor em janeiro de 2014.<br \/>\nOs novos ve\u00edculos de passageiros introduzidos no mercado&nbsp;tiveram de cumprir com a legisla\u00e7\u00e3o antes de Setembro de&nbsp;2014 e desde janeiro de 2015 que todos os ve\u00edculos fabricados&nbsp;t\u00eam de cumprir com os requerimentos da norma Euro 6.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EURO 5 (715\/2007\/EC)<\/strong><br \/>\nA norma Euro 5 foi introduzida na UE em 2009. Esta prop\u00f4s&nbsp;limitar a emiss\u00e3o nociva em ve\u00edculos pesados de transporte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EURO 4 (98\/69\/EC, 2002\/80\/EC)<\/strong><br \/>\nA norma Euro 4 foi introduzida na UE em 2005. Esta lei prop\u00f4s&nbsp;limitar as emiss\u00f5es para ve\u00edculos movidos a gasolina ou&nbsp;gas\u00f3leo. Com a Euro 4 as emiss\u00f5es de NOx foram limitadas&nbsp;pela primeira vez.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EURO 3 (98\/69\/EC)<\/strong><br \/>\nA norma Euro 3 foi introduzida na UE em 1999. Esta norma&nbsp;limitou as emiss\u00f5es de ve\u00edculos a gas\u00f3leo. A norma Euro&nbsp;3 regulava tamb\u00e9m a legisla\u00e7\u00e3o para ve\u00edculos pesados de&nbsp;transporte.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EURO 1 &amp; 2 (91\/441\/EEC, 93\/59\/EEC y 94\/12\/EC, 96\/69\/EC)<\/strong><br \/>\nA norma Euro 1 entrou em vigor em 1993, com o objetivo de&nbsp;estabelecer padr\u00f5es para as emiss\u00f5es de ve\u00edculos comerciais&nbsp;e cami\u00f5es de segmento m\u00e9dio. Foi o in\u00edcio da redu\u00e7\u00e3o&nbsp;de emiss\u00f5es de todos os motores com o fim de melhorar a&nbsp;qualidade do ar na Europa. A fase IV B foi introduzida&nbsp;em 2011 levando grande parte dos fornecedores de maquinaria&nbsp;n\u00e3o-rodovi\u00e1ria a implementar a tecnologia SCR.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fases I e II (1997-2004)<\/strong><br \/>\nOs primeiros regulamentos para motores a gas\u00f3leo n\u00e3orodovi\u00e1rios&nbsp;foram introduzidos em 1997.
