Dieser wird chemisch durch die Hydrolyse von Automobilharnstoff gebildet, der der Hauptrohstoff f\u00fcr AdBlue\u00ae ist. Harnstoff wird auch bei der Herstellung von D\u00fcngemitteln und vielen anderen Anwendungen eingesetzt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AdBlue\u00ae wird bei Dieselmotoren mit SCR-Technologie eingesetzt. Diese Technologie (Selective Catalytic Reduction) reduziert die sch\u00e4dlichen Emissionen (NOx). AdBlue\u00ae wird in den Katalysator des SCR-Systems eingespritzt, wo es eine chemische Reaktion mit dem Ammoniak ausl\u00f6st. Diese chemische Reaktion wandelt die giftigen Stickoxide (NOx) in Stickstoff (N2) und Wasserdampf (H2O) um.
